Alejandro De Miguel

Photo of Alejandro De Miguel IBGA Director Alejandro de Miguel was born in Pamplona Spain in 1992 and due to a congenital glaucoma, he lost his sight at the age of 21.

He started playing golf in 1998 and later joined the world of golf for blind players in 2018, his first participation being in the Italian Open played in Rome in which he obtained a second place.

This first tournament, was the beginning of many others becoming the winner of the British in 2022 and a member of the Rest of the World team in the Vision Cup in 2022 and winning the World Cup in 2023 played in South Africa.

Alejandro currently resides in the city of Madrid and combines his work as HR director and golf with the aim of expanding this sport in other countries.
