IBGA EVENTS - UPCOMING

On behalf of the International Blind Golf Association (IBGA), Blind Golf Canada (BGC), Ontario Blind Golf (OBG), and our 2025 volunteers, we would like to invite the selected members of your country, and their guides, to join us here in Simcoe, Ontario, Canada! We are hosting two events, starting with the ISPS Handa Canadian Open, followed by the International Blind Golf Association World Championships!

• Canadians - Sunday August 3rd to Tuesday, August 5th

• Worlds - Wednesday, August 6th to Friday, August 8th

If playing in both, arrival day is Saturday, August 2nd, if just coming for the Worlds, your arrival day will be Tuesday, August 5th. Departure day will be Saturday, August 9th. We suggest that you fly into Toronto Pearson International Airport (YYZ).

ISPS Handa Canadian Open

Entry Fee: $300 US Funds

• Transportation to Simcoe from Toronto Pearson International Airport (YYZ) and back

• Daily transportation from hotel to The Greens at Renton and back

• Covers 4 nights accommodation

• Daily breakfast at The Greens at Renton

• 3 rounds of golf

• Closing banquet

• Practice Round- Sunday, August 3rd

• 2 days of competition-> Monday, August 4th and Tuesday, August 5th

• Competition format will offer Stroke play or Stableford (player must choose one prior to the start of the event)

Prizes

Prizes will be awarded in the following categories provided there are adequate participants in each category.

• Overall Low Net Champion - 1st and 2nd Place

• Low Gross B1 Men's Division - 1st and 2nd Place

• Low Gross B2 Men's Division - 1st and 2nd Place

• Low Gross B3 Men's Division - 1st and 2nd Place

• Low Gross B4 Men's Division - 1st and 2nd Place

• Women's Overall Low Net Champion - 1st and 2nd Place

• Low Gross B1 Ladies Division - 1st and 2nd Place

• Low Gross B2 Ladies Division - 1st and 2nd Place

• Low Gross B3 Ladies Division - 1st and 2nd Place

• Stableford Division - 1st and 2nd Place

Saturday, August 2nd: Arrival Day

• Airport Pick up if required from Toronto Pearson International airport (YYZ)

• Check in to either the Best Western or the Travelodge (we will inform you of which in advance)

• Evening Meet and Greet - Location TBD

Sunday, August 3rd

• Transportation to The Greens at Renton

• Breakfast at The Greens at Renton

• Practice Round will be a scramble format

• Potentially a sponsored dinner TBD

Monday, August 4th and Tuesday, August 5th

• Transportation to The Greens at Renton

• Breakfast at The Greens at Renton

• Opening Ceremony Monday August 4th

• Two Stroke Play or Stableford Competitive Rounds

• Awards dinner to follow Tuesday's final round at The Greens at Renton

IBGA World Championship

• Breakfast at The Greens at Renton

• Two rounds of competition

• Awards dinner to follow the final round on Friday

Saturday, August 9th: Departure Day

• Transportation to Toronto Pearson International Airport - more details to follow, number of trips and departure times will be determined (important to let us know your arrival and departure dates/times/airport)
