ISPS HANDA 2024 SPANISH OPEN BLIND GOLF CHAMPIONSHIP

Costa Ballena Ocean Golf Club Resort, Rota, Cadiz, Spain

This 36 hole MEDAL event will take place at Costa Ballena Ocean Golf Club Resort, Rota, Cadiz, Spain.

There are direct flights from most major European cities and those applying from outside should consider transfer flights if entering the competition.

We would like to invite international and local players to apply for entry to the limited number of places available in this event.

The Course

The course has 27 championship holes, 9 par 3 holes and the best practice area in Europe, according to the Swedish Professional Golfers Association. These are just some of the characteristics that describe Costa Ballena Ocean Golf Club. The secret of its success lies in the perfect balance between leisure, training and sport.

A magnificent design by Olaazabal, demanding for lower handicaps and benevolent for lesser players. It is a flat course, with some holes parallel to the beach, and others defended by strategically placed bunkers and lakes. It is Par 72; 6.036 meters from yellow and 5.155 m from red.

Open for play for more than two decades, it has hosted all kinds of competitions. Among them, the Professional European Qualifying School Second Stage, the Cuadrangular Internacional Costa Ballena, The King Cup and the Queen Cup. It is also the official training venue for various European National Golf Federations.
